This barn scene is on most farms in our rural landscapes in South Dakota. This is the kind of barn on the farm I grew up on. These barns are getting old and being torn down and replaced with the modern metal sheds. It is important to remember what it was like years ago. This kind of scenery is getting obsolete.
That is why it is important to me to paint them.
